Do you just have an enlarged thyroid or are you also hyperthyroid? If you are hyperthyroid, that can cause tachycardia, which is a fast rate. If your TSH level is low, that means an overactive thyroid. Have they done a TSH or an echo on you? And, of course you know this, you need to quit smoking!
