Weak heart/ High Pulse Rate

I had a stress test and received my follow-up results yesterday. My cardiologist said that when she first read the reports, she thought there was an error.  At my visit yesterday, another EKG was done and the results were the same: Weak Heart and a high pulse rate.  She then advised that I needed an Angiogram ASAP (I will have it done tomorrow).  My concern is that I am onlyl 36 years old but have a very long history with the women in my family (all women on my mother's side - including my mother who had a double by-pass at 47 and now at 61 only has 19% heart function.)  I am not really sure of my question other than not really knowing what to expect in addition to lying flat for several hours.  I was also told by my cardiologist that I may only be in the hospital a few hours if all is ok, but could stay over night if a stent or balloon is needed. Do they give you some medication to helo you relax during the proceedure? Will I feel the tightening in my chest that I have felt before? Could this be the reason (weak heart) that I have been so tired as of late?
