Weird chest pain for months?

I've been having this weird pain for months. it only lasts a 2-4 seconds. It just comes and goes. The first time I got it and when it usually occurs is when sitting or bending over. When walking or upright, I'm fine. On a scale of one to ten, the pain is either a 2, 3 or 4. It rarely occurs when I sleep and even then it hurts even less. Sometimes I don't have the pain for like a week. It doesn't worsen with exercise, no shortness of breath. there's no burning sensation and antacids don't help. Doesn't hurt to take deep breathes. Taking a deep breathe in sometimes helps.

It's usually on the left side of my chest, under the rib cage. I sometimes feel it in my neck, arms, jaw and right side of the chest. sometimes there's a slight tightness in my neck/throat.

If it helps, I'm in front of a computer all day (at work and home) and that's when I first got the pain. I'm 6 ft 270 pounds, don't smoke.

went to a clinic and they said my bp cholesterol was 152. That wouldn't cause pain of something they said, and it takes years to build up.

My xray turned out normal.

Funny thing is, I went to a chiropractor, and told him about the problem when I was filling out the form (first time visitor). He said it's likely to be a pinched nerve. He adjusted me a few times over a period of a few weeks, and I've been feeling better. I haven't been in a while and the pain comes back every now and then, so I'm pretty sure it's a pinched nerve.

Your arteries could be spasming from cholesterol buildup.  You should see your doctor for some testing.  I have known people who were only 30% plugged and their artery spasmed so bad that their back actually would vibrate along with severe chest pain.

I had the same thing for a few months. Turned out my cholesterol was pretty high and I only went when it got really bad. Go to your doctor and have him/her check your cholesterol. Until then, start exercising a little bit (walk a half mile a day; nothing too strenuous at first) and cut the excess fat and cholesterol from your diet.
