Was wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone. My normalNormal saline flush pac will feel like.. beat beat beat beatbeat pause THUD. Yesterday I felt THUDTHUD right together. Scared the **** outta me. I don't understand how that could happen because I thought the THUD was a result of an early beat giving the heart more time to fill with blood causing the resulting THUD. How could THUDTHUD be possible???? Also, I think I'm feeling littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys bursts of svtParoxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (psvt) now. Scaring the pooh outta me. I'm going back on my beta blocker. I tell ya, that third baby, almost like someone flipped the whacko switch in my heart. Not fun.
Okay, yes, I do get that. When I felt the THUDTHUD on my HolterHolter monitor (24h), I was told I'd had an atrial couplet. It sure is an unpleasant sensation.
i have pac just got off 24 hr montor had 127 pvc but over 3000 pac in 24 hours.
mine feel like flutters and lots of them at one time, i had 7 in a row this morning, still scareing me. have had them for 10 weeks now, day and night . just started feeling some releaf with atenolol 25mg just started helping after 7 days . i have lots couplets and they will scare you . what bb are you taking,
to be honest ive been on a bb for 20 years and if they want to come it dont stop them all it just makes them feel a little less sometimes. good luck and hope your pac free tonight
My cardiologist says they're not, and from all the reading and researching I've done I cannot find anything that says they are anything to worry about. Even ventricular couplets aren't considered a cause for worry.
i too have PACS and i completly can tell you what you are describing the beat beat beatbeat pause and then a big thump... me to the key.. i hate these. they take my breath away and make me feel so strange. i mean it throws me off. i can be going out my business and then boom there it is. i started having them april of last year. i can go days even a week with none or days where i feel them and they cause me a great deal of anxiety. the way i see it is when i have one i worry how many more i will get and will it get worse?? my dr.. 4 drs say they are completly benign but why did they start?? never had them before and why do i feel some and some i dont... i wore an event monitor to catch them. when i wore a holter i had 69 in 24 hours and then i wore it again 6 months later and had 49 but felt none. so i said you are not catching what i am feeling.. then the event monitor finally caught the PAC.. 2 PVCs... but nothing else. i had an episode of bigeminy atrail and that was scary last 24 seconds... every other beat was one...
i hate living with these i feel i dont live my life to the fullest as i am constanly worried about if i over due it i will make it worse. when i work out i get them shortly after working out. my dr said to take magnesium. they do not want to put me on a beta blocker as i do not have enough too. i am only 33 and i am wondering if they will ever just desappear or will i live with this and they will get worse over time, dr says my heart is perfect and healthey but i am still scared.
It sounds like you may have felt a couplet -- 2 ectopic beats strung together. Did it feel like your heartbeat was "stuck?" That's the best way I can describe what I felt with couplets or runs.
Thank goodness, 3rd babies are so easy going.....At least mine was/is : )
