What can i do for the pain

I am a 48 year old woman that was diagnose pericardits this year. Now I have come down with the same symptoms, and the doctor says that there is nothing there. I am short of breath, I have sharp pains in my chest, pain in my right, and in my back. Some times the pain can be unbearable. What can I do if the doctors can not find anything?

If you have been diagnosed with pericarditis, its not clear why the doctors would say they can't find anything? You have the symptoms of the pericarditis!

Reading between the lines, it sounds like she had the disorder, was treated but now the symptoms have returned, but Doctors aren't diagnosing pericarditis this time?

Relapsing or recurrent pericarditis is probably the most troublesome complication of acute pericarditis, and represents one of the greatest therapeutic challenges among the disorders of the pericardium.  It is inconsistant to rule out pericarditis as it is not unusual to have a relapse...that's my point...doesn't make sense!.
