What does an autopsy uncover?

Posted By ED on December 04, 1998 at 16:25:03:

An autopsy was recently performed on a member in my family.  The results of the autopsy showed that the relative died of an arrhythmia. We were unaware that he had any type of heart problem.  He was a 35 year old male, and died while being restrained.   I would like to know whether there are visible identifiable signs that arrhythmia was the cause of death, or whether it is a best guesstimate because other signs are not present, and the heart may be suspect.  What are the identifiable signs, and could being restrained exacerbate the problem?
Thanks
