What does the result of my Stress Test mean?

What does the result of my Stress Test mean?

The impression of my Stress Test says:
1. Lower Limits of Normal Ejection Fraction of 46%
2. Mild Diffuse Hypokinesis of the Left Ventricular Myocardium
3. Findings consistent with a focal infarct in the anteroseptum with some peri-infarct ischemia.

What does all that mean?  I am trying to have back surgery and it was canceled because my EKG was abnormal or irregular determined by who told me.  My heart has always been good.  Blood Pressure most always 120/80 and I have never had trouble with cholesterol.  So what is going on here?

The person who read your stress test should have told you they suspect you have had a heart attack in the middle portion of the pumping chambers of the heart, and an associated area of decreased blood flow in the area surrounding that heart attack. This, by their read is a small area. What they plan on doing next may vary and depends how certain they are of their findings, but may include either a diagnostic left heart catheterization or improved medical therapy.
