What is Omega Co Q-10?

I have high cholesterol and triglycerides and my doctor prescribed Lovastatin 40 mg once a day. I was also prescribed Omega Co-Q10 but medicaid won't cover it since it is available over the counter. It is about 30 dollars at Walgreens. If I had 30 dollars to spend on OTC medicine I would not be on medicaid. What does it do and where can I get it at the lowest price? I can not find anywhere on the internet that says what is does. Is it like Omega 3? Thank you.

Also I have another question this time about PVCs. Can a PVC feel like a strangling sensation or lump in your throat with a brief moment of panic and sometimes a skipped beat in your chest? I think maybe I am having PVCs from anxiety and non-ulcer dyspepsia (something messing with the vagus nerve).
