What is that terrible smell? Lovaza, high triglycerides and hypothyroidism

For high triglycerides, I have been taking Lovaza for a month...last night, i suddenly noticed this horrible smell of fish, like Iw as standing in a fish market.  St first I thought something had been in my son's pocket when i washed clothes.  iw as taking clean clothes from the dryer and there was this horrible fishy smell.  When I could still smell it everywhere this morning, I wodnered if it might just be something that I'm smelling as a side effect of the Lovaza.  has anyone noticed this?  It's quite horrible.  Also, I just noticed that there may be issues with Lovaza if I alreayd have hypothyroidism (I have been on Synthroid medication for 25 years, since a large benign tuomor was removed from my thyroid gland, along with half the gland itself).  What is the issue with this?  Also, I noticed that Lovaza contains soybean oil, and I have allergies to estrogen.

Sorry, I meant have you discussed these issues with Lovaza with your doctor?  Didn't mean to be so vague there.

Please follow up with your doctor on this. Have you discussed the issues with Lovasa? I would think it worthwhile to do do.  Take care

A thyroid disorder can be the underlying cause effecting the sense of smell. Also, some medicaions.

But you should see your doctor as the condition can be a serious health condition.  A smell disorder can be an early sign of Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, or multiple sclerosis. It can also accompany or be a sign of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and malnutrition.

Hope this helps.  Thanks for your question, and if you have any followup questions you are welcome to respond.
