What tests or exam will be given is probably based on what were your clinical signs and symptoms prior to the stent implant. If you had a stent placement, that procedure would have included an examination of your 4 major arteries and a doctor's report will inform your doctor of the status of the coronary vessel disease. I don't believe there will be any exams...there wasn't any follow up exam for me until a year later. The cardiologist will review the report and may prescribe medication such as cholesterol lowering med, blood pressure control med, etc. There shouldn't be any limitation for traveling, work (unless heavy lifting), etc. Enjoy your trip!
usually no exams are done apart from blood pressure, pulse and maybe a EKG.
He/she will rely on any symptoms you describe.
