I use to take cocaine quite frequently for just over a year. I was 17 when I started using cocaine and I am just about to turn 20 now. I haven't used in over a year now since when I started to get heart palpitations. However they have never gone away. Then yesterday after not having them for a while I started to feel a pain on the left side of my chest. It was very sharp. Later that day whilst lying down I got really bad heart palpitations. For about 30 seconds it felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest and since then the pain in my chest hasn't gone. Could this be something serious and should I go to my doctor about it?
