I had the second Ablation to fix the rapidRapid shallow breathing heart beat problem 4 months ago. Now, SVTParoxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (psvt) seems to go away but now I am having the skipped heart beat problem. The problem is getting worse and worse, the problem happens more often after the dinner. Sometime, it lasts for couple of hours and make me feel very uncomfort and I have to go to sleep. Could anyone tell me if the skipped heart beat the side effect of the Ablation. Thank you!
I had my ablation in 1985. Now 2006, it wake me up during the night, I have to wait for my heart beats. Anyway, it turn up each time. Just has to take a while. Sometimes I feel missing beats. I don't know "skip beat" and "Pause" are the same thing or not? From my holterHolter monitor (24h), it said "Pause". My cardio told me, it records in my pacemaker said few "skip beats".
I feel a very strong heart beat after a weak heart beat. The frequency is various, sometimes, it happens in every few regularRegular insulin heart beat, other time, it happens in every 10 heart beat. I think the paluse is the same as skipped heart beat. Do you have any complication besides the paluse after the ablation?
Yuen, you could be developed bradycardia. Go back and tell your doctor. Get a check rather than wait. I'm not a dr but I'd gone through the ablation like you.
After my His bundle ablation (when I woke up), my heart beat fall to 40. They quickly put the drip, oxygen and an external pacemaker for me at the ward (hospital). Some how, I don't know when, my accessory pathway active again. I have wpw.
You better go back and check it for a reassurance. Let me know how you go and feel free to ask questions.
that is currently my problem now.
i had svt and had an ablation done 5 years ago when i was 19.
i have been having this normal heart rate and then i feel like a delayed beat then a hard strong one that feels like its in my throat.
sometimes i get one of them a day sometimes too many to count. they also sometimes run together.
i hate them they scare me and always are on my mind. i am afraid that i will die that i have some other problem w/ my heart now.
i wore a monitr over nite the dr said alls he saw was tachcardia. that i know i have soemtimes. but its these beats that feel like a lump in my throat that are bothering me.
Get a copy of holter monitor report and read yourself. If you don't understand, post here and there or everywhere, I'm sure someone will answer and explain. They're out there some seniors even better than the doctor. The report should be like that.
