Yet Another PVC Question

I suffer from PVC's maybe once every few months, which I feel very fortunate about.  I only seem to get them when laying on my side in bed, which I find really strange.  My doctor told me not to worry about my "skipped" beat feeling unless my heartbeat went real fast after the skipped beat.  Last night I experineced something different.  When laying in bed I felt a beat, then a pause, and then 2 fast beats.  This continued on for no longer than a minute.  (Seemed like eternity though)  Was this was my doctor was talking about by my heartbeat speeding up after a pause?  Or, was he mainly talking about a continuous fast heart rate.  I don't experience them.  Do different people experience PVC's differently?  I'm just so paranoid because my dad died of a heart attack in his 50's.  I'm so afraid in life that the same thing will happen to me, even though my doctors say I'm healthy.  Stats: 29 year old female, slight heart murmur, excellent cholestrol, 135/85 blood pressure, and I'm doing my hardest at not smoking.  Right now I smoke maybe 2x a month, and yes, I know I need to not smoke at all.  I just struggle when I get into social situations.  Any advice on not smoking at all in social situations would be helpful also.  I'm really ready to quit NOW!!!!!! (for good)
Thank you so much for your time and effort you put into this.
