Your opinion on Pulmonary Hypertension

I am 66 and was dx in 2003 and told 2 yrs possilby to live with ILD Pulmonary Fibrosis Sarcoidosis, as well as Parkinson's (which has been kept well under control).  After having been on 80mg per day I acquired diabetes which is now controlled wirh diet and medication and I'm off the steriods.  I am on 6 ltrs oxygen continuous, take chemo to hold the IDL steady. I fell and tore the miniscus on both sides of my left knee last year and my ortho surgeon wanted to repair it under spinal but my pulmonary doctor would not give clearance. Now a year layer more damage has been done to the knee and my hip is involved now as well and the ortho wants to do arthroscopic under general (good luck trying that one for clearance}, I am in so much pain I want the surgery.  When I was at my pulmonologist office a few days ago  I was having an epidode when he entered the exam room of extreme sweating, even more difficulty in  breathing, light headed, neauseous, feeling like I was going to pass out, dry unproductive cough.  These have been going on for several months and I just thought that they were diabetic although my numbers are really good. Pulmonologist saId Pulmonary Hypertension and sent me the next day for 2D Echo and talked to me about tube in neck resting in heart for an even better reading.  I am having spirometry tests the end of the week but am not able to get results of 2D for 2 weeks. Now that you know everything, what do you think about the possibility of Pulmonary Hypertension and is it fair to make me wait 2 weeks for dx?
