I have severe SVT and am planning on having ablation surgery in a month, however there is some possibility that I may be pregnant. Should I not have the ablation done if I am indeed pregnant? What are the risks associated for pregnant women.

No you should wait before getting your ablation, as this is a completely elective procedure. There is radiation risk to the fetus, which can be minimized  by using leaded shields and so forth, but I would favor postponing the ablation until after delivery.
