  I was wondering what the approximate cost of ablation for the treatment of Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome is.  Any information you could give me would be extremely helpful.  Thanks- TONI

Thank you for your question.  I really don't know the answer to your question.  It would depend on your insurance, the exact type of procedure, the number of catheters used (some can cost several hundred dollars apiece) and where the procedure was done.  I would guess it would be several thousand but this is just a guess.  The hospital where you are scheduled to get the procedure should be able to give you an estimate and also work with you on a payment plan if necessary.
