Trivial mitral valve regurg is considered medically insignificant.  Many people have slight leakage of blood back into the upper chamber when the lower chamber contracts and pumps blood into circulation.

You may have had mild mvr and no symptoms, etc. If MVR is moderate to severe, the valve can be repaired or replaced.  No need to be copncerned.
