abscess tooth

by sharky54, Feb 15, 2009 10:00PM
About a year ago i had gotten a cracked tooth which eventually the pain went away and i started having breathing trouble and Doctor said i had ashme and put me on an inhaler. Sometimes it helped and not. Eerytime i laid down i got congested and started sleeping upright. On january 10th i travel to costa Rica and breathing got worse and next day i got congestive heart failure with severe pulmonary hypertension with dystolic dysfunction type 3 with ejection fraction of 24 %.
After 5 days in Hospital and am home . I had never had heart problems and was very much an active person running and exercising. Do you feel that since the cardio docs says Idiopathic that this abscess which is being removed on Wen. may have caused this to happen to a strong healthy 54 year old male?
