activity postangioplasty & cardiac surgery

what activity & level of exercise can one prescribe for postangioplasty & post cardiac surgery patients and after what duration?
For example driving,anaerobic exercises & returning back to work

You didn't mention what kind of cardiac surgery.

As far as activities after an angioplasty, with each of mine, I was able to return to work within two days, until the doctor found out what kind of work I do, then it was changed to returning to work and extreme physical activities after a week (5 to 7 days).

The main concern, with activities after an angioplasty, is the ripping/tearing of the site.  Usually they suggest no extreme heavy lifting or extreme physical activities for a week, but normal physical activities can be resumed almost immediately.

Your cardiologist should have discussed this with you.
