allergic or tollerate meds

think we need a space here for people who are allergic to medications ,or cant tollerate them.  
as im sure there are alot of people in the world today, that have problems with allergic reactions to meds, or just cant
tollerate the adverse side effects from the meds.  

iv noticed myself the lack of careing of Doctors today,as its mostly a routine visit -in and out ,here are some samples
of pills -never to take the time to ask have you taken these before? or are you allergic to this type of pill ? had problems so on..   or lend a helping hand out, and say, lets try this here now and see how it reacts on you.! so I know
your ok . this never happens!   prehapps it was back in the 50s and 60s when Doctors took the time to help us.
before HMO's  and big Insurance got involved.  

I have a big problem right now, Iv been to 8 diffrent Doctors - for some odd reason these Doctors all kept me on
the same type and same brand of blood pressure medications - over and over.. even though they knew well I couldnt tollerate most of them !  and had Allergic reactions to at least 4 of them before.  Hives ! and other things.
I am now on Atenolol  beta blocker - for the 3rd time in my life.  and living in Hell..  with adverse side effects
and allergic reactions to the medication.    
this Doctor now,  thinks im crazy ? maybe I am !!  due to the fricken meds - he keeps handing me samples of
diffrent medications to treat the side effects , and not the problem at hand !   I have 4 diffrent samples to take .
none I will take at all.   as its a ban aid deal that wont work .. and wont fix the problem .
I sometimes wonder if this idiot is pushing drugs for the pharm companys ?  guess he wants a big free vacation ?
or a new car to drive around in ??

at my age I cant go around anymore looking for good doctors - as 8 already!!  thats in 3 years !!!  wow ..
anyone got the same thing go on ? or close to it ?

Morning Boogie. You've been battling this for such a long time. I don't have any answers for you. I personally just don't take medication unless I need it to stay alive. Example: have a wicked infection? I'll take the antibiotics. Can't breathe? I'll do the nebulizer at the hospital. Everything else that pops up, I live with it. But I'm fortunate to be in pretty good health.

I don't know about your specific type of heart problems so I don't know if you could get away with no meds. As for high BP, there's no way you can ignore that. Well, you could but then you'd be on a kidney transplant list like my friend. Talk about pills!

And you've tried alternative treatments, right? The whole this vitamin, that vitamin, eat this, eat that. Sometimes high BP can be managed with those, sometimes not.

All I can do is send you a hug. I hear hugs help reduce BP. Here's a dozen (((((())))))

I wish there was a ansure out there for me, but there isnt !  yeah sure tryed the natural
stuff spend thousands of dollars -nothing really helped me much.  fact is most made me sick !!  
now it seems the older I get, the less medications I can take ,as I become allergic to them all.  or have the most adverse side effects known to mankind.  

I think its just bad luck! bad ju ju !! gotta get it off my back.  
I keep hopeing something will turn up that works for me .. Natural or whatever ?

If not well - I just have to keep pushing forwords and try not to complain about it .
