Anemia can present a lot of different problems, not just a faster heart rate. If your Oxygen level is low enough to cause your heart rate to increase, it's likely you will also feel shortness of breath too. Anemia can be a shortage of haemoglobin (red corpuscles) or they could be deformed through a disease, reducing their ability to bond with oxygen. If you think you have anemia, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible because eventually if severe enough, all major organs can become affected.
The short answer is as jrbon says...yes it can especially if there is a breakdown of the red blood cells...the main thing is has this been confirmed by a doctor? If not you should see one so that they can help you out with supplements to get everything in line...the treatment is a simple one in most cases......and when everything balances back out the symptoms abate.....good luck with this.
Yes, it could.
Anemia means less reed cells in blood --> less iron --> Less oxygen --> more need to move blood to oxygenate organs.
