anesthetic and PVCs

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone had any experience with the anesthetic Versed? I read about it and the side effects include PVCs, bigemy, etc. Since I tend to suffer from these at times, I am very anxious about getting this drug during my upcoming surgery. Any experiences? Especially from the frequent PVCers?
Thanks in advance.

I've had versed many times also.  In fact, I had it twice during ablations to ablate frequent pvcs.  The doctor joked that it would be great (for my pvcs) if I could just stay on the versed.  Apparently, it really quiets things down.

No negative experiences, many positive.

Best to you on your upcoming surgery.

They used Versed for all three of my ablations and it was wonderful. Not a single problem.

Yes, I had Versed for gynecological surgery.  I didn't have a single palpitation.  The doctor said the medicine keeps you calm which actually PREVENTS palps.

I've had versed several times during procedures.  I suffer from afib and PACs but the versed never brought on any episodes.  Overall, my experience with versed has been very good.

I had surgery and was under for quite a while.  I had absolutely no palpitations the entire time (it was during a bad spell of them too, which worried me going in) and they stayed gone for about three months after the surgery!!!

Hope that helps :)
