This means that your mother has coronary artery disease, but a mild form.  Coronary artery disease is narrowing of the arteries that supply the heart. It sounds like your mother has slight narrowing of one of these three major arteries (called the LAD artery).  Since it is mild, there is no need for stenting or surgery, but the best treatment is diet, exercise, and making sure that her blood pressure, blood cholesterol levels, and blood sugars are controlled.  These should be done in consultation with a physician.  Also, if your mother smokes, she should try to quit as smoking increases the risk of worsening of coronary artery disease.
