My husband had angio-seal to vascular closure on the 8th of Febuary and the nurse said no bath, no swimming only showers but did not say how long, The angio-seal instructions says not really healed until 90 days so does that mean no swimming or baths till the 90 days are up, the nurse never did answer my question
I think I had the same thing after an ablation. The doctor used some type of St. Jude plug (seal) to close off an arterial entry site. I was told the plug would dissolve in about 90 days. I had no restrictions except to be careful for the first few days (lifting). I was told to report any unusual pain, bleeding, swelling, etc.
