My husband fractured his ankle in January this year. The ankle is slowly healing. OUr Doctor wanted him to use a bone stimulating machine, my husband refused. On our next visit the Doctor agreed he could wait. My husband is a diabetic and he was told by his another doctor that he needed to keep his sugar under 130 for faster healing. Is this a reasonable plan for full recovery? The Orthopedist suggested a bone graft and surgury. However he now says to wait. Thanks, dyj

It is a very good forum where any of your questions about broken legs & ankles will be answered by other people who have all had or have broken legs or ankles and who may have/had the same problem.
