when i am active my aorta becomes enlarged and i am very easily winded. why is this

I am unclear about what you are describing -- enlarging aorta?  However, if you are experiencing shortness of breath at rest or with exertion that is out of proportion to your level of activity (or a new occurrence), I would suggest being evaluated by your regular doctor where a complete history and physical examination can be performed with the appropriate diagnostic testing.
