aortic aneurysm repair and recovery BP PR and any other info

Hi. This is my first time on here..so sorry if i blab on and on. My Mother is 65 and just DX with aortic aneurysm and had to have open repair.  Surgery went well.. She did great and the doctor said it could not have gone better. SHe was in the hospital for 5 days and now home for 3 days..(surgery was last monday..a week ago), Now I have her home and am so happy to have her home were she belongs...but i find myself worried about some things.. And the doctor did not do a great job of answering some of my questions.  Her BP was pretty good before the surgery..she is on BP med..but it never was very high..i always thought she had white coat syndrome..because when i checked it here at home it was always fine.. but never the less..she took her meds for the past 8 or so years. Now since the surgery last week..her BP has been a little higher then i am used to.. not to to bad..but i worry that even a little elevation is going to cause undo stress on the new aortic graft or her heart..it has been running between 140-160/80-90.  I know that is not aweful high...but it is ok just having this kind of surgery??? Her pulse has been pretty low...about 65..but only 57 tonite.  Is all of this ok?  Could it just be from her body healing after such a major surgery? Should i call the Doctor or am i over reacting? SHe has not been in a lot of pain since home..only taking a Extra Strength Tylenol 1-2 times a day..she says the pain is barable and she does not want to take any narcotic type pain meds.. so could it just be the stress of the surgery? her body healing?  is this normal after a big surgery?  Or should i be concerned and call the doctor?  Any info or advice ..please.  I am a reck here..worried...and just want to know if i should relax or panic?? Today she said she felt a bit tired and down in the dumps...yesturday she was quite upbeat and better mood.today...just seems sad and blah...is that pretty normal as well...to have down days after major surgery? I just worry about my Mom so much. SHe is my BEST FRIEND ..and i want to make sure she is ok... Please anyone out there..HELP.. help put my mind at ease if this is all to be expected or normal..or if u think i should have her back to the doctor in the morning??  thanks for any info or help.  also..does anyone know if this type of surgery puts undo stress on the heart in the future??
