arortica vavle/altitude

i have moderate arortic valve leakage, and am visiting my sister in carsbad,nm   ,i live in mpls,mn,.   i was wondering if i could take an altitude of 2000 ft. it is high in altitude here already.

Yes you can take a flight to cardsbad, nm and stay at an altitude of 2000ft for a visit.  That shouldn't be a problem at all! The issues with altitude are more for patients with lung disease and low oxygen levels, but leaky heart valves do not necessarily make you prone to low oxygen levels.
