ascal

Hi there,
About 13 years ago I got a TIA. According to the doctors in the Netherlands, where I lived, a blood clot blocked a vessal in my brains. Anyway, since then I use ASCAL 38mg Brisper every day one pill. It thins your blood and prevents from getting another TIA.
Half a year ago I moved to New York. I almost run out off my ASCAL 38mg Brisper stock. I checked the pharmacies, but here they do not sell ASCAL. Could you advice me what substitute I can buy here in the States?
Thanks,
Otto

You need to be seen by a physician who will most likely prescribe either a blood thinner such as coumadin or a platelet inhibitor such as aspirin and plavix.  I am not familiar with ascal and don't know how it works.  when you go to see your physician you should probably bring the box that the medication came in so that he could figure out how it works.
