atrial flutter?

by daizy2, Apr 07, 2007 12:00AM
Hi everyone:

Could anyone please tell me how can it be that I have a 'possibly atrial flutter' reading on the reveal implant download as by the EP and then cardio wrote and told me this too.  How is not a definite diagnosis.

Also the EP mentioned neurocardiogenic because I mentioned blackouts sometimes, am I right in saying that atrial flutter is different from neurocardiogenic syncope and that indeed you can blackout during episodes of atrial flutter?  the episodes of balcking out can indeed be cause a multitude of things and yes, including atrail flutter.  Need clarification please?  Am confused?

In any case, I can't understand why is not the diagnosis of atrial flutter firm but instead a ?

Should I consult for a second opinion?

Many thanks
daizy2
