You don't need to wean off it, u just stop taking it.  But you shouldn't stop taking it.  If your doctor told you to take it, take it, unless you are having side effects maybe? (Stomach problems?)  Discuss this with your doctor please.  

Aspirin is used to prevent blood clots, and so is very useful in preventing heart disease, i.e. heart attack and stroke.  If you need to stop taking it, there are other drugs you can take instead (plavix) and there are also forms of aspirin that aren't absorbed until after they pass into the small intestine, so they don't hurt your stomach.
