benadryl and palpatations?

has anyone ever heard of benadryl causing heart palpatations? ive recently been having semi painfull palpatations that are very concerning, went to doc and he gave me ekg, normal. next is 24 hr monitor, so any help is appriciated. been out of work with broken ribs and crepidus for two months not sure of relation but thats the facts. thanks.

Any allergy or cold medications can cause palpitations in a person prone to them any way. You'll find most people on the arrhythmia board avoid cold meds. Perhaps the monitor will show what's going on. Of course it will only show a problem if you're feeling the arrhythmia during that day of the monitor.

I'm surprised the crepitus hasn't cleared up yet after 2 months. Hope you feel better soon.
