Any allergy or cold medications can cause palpitationsHeart palpitations in a person prone to them any way. You'll find most people on the arrhythmia board avoid cold meds. Perhaps the monitor will show what's going on. Of course it will only show a problem if you're feeling the arrhythmia during that day of the monitor.
