benign pvc's

I have read so much about pvc's on this forum, but I still feel the need to ask, yet, another question.  Last night I had pvc's for about 45 min. (I usually only get 1 - 4), coughing did not stop them, neither did changing my position.  I took my evening dose of atenolol and they all but went away about 30 mins. later.  Now, I know if everything else with my heart was normal that that wouldn't be a problem, what I am wondering is, is it still benign with IST and valvular disease?

ISDT might be related to your valve disorder or neurocardio syndrome.

After rereading your response, I am curious to know if I have the IST because of the valvular disease.  Is it the cause, if not are they related in any way?  How about the neurocardio. syndrome?

I have an appt. for Dec. 15, can I wait until that time to mention it?  If it doesn't happen again, that should be ok, right?  I don't want to call about every little thing, I'd rather wait for an appt., I would feel like a nuisance.

with underlying cardiac disease , it is important to make sure that these extraa beats do not represent arrhythmias.  These symptoms should be discussed with your cardiologist.
