bicuspid valve/endocroditis

hello-my daughter was born with a coarctation and a bicuspid aortic valve. at 2 weeks she had a succssesful repair on her coarctation but they left the bicuspid alone. just last week she woke up with a 105 fever. we rushed her to the hospital and she ended up having a urinary track infection. they gave her meds and she is much better. my worries are that every infection she gets she is going to get this heart infection endocroditis. we thankfully caught it in time before it got in her blood but i just kinda wanted to talk to people that live with a bicuspid and see how they deal with the stresses and what things i really need to worry about and things i need to relax about. would love to hear from you all. thank you
