bleeding aneurysm ?? in groin area after heart cathereterization

by Nora612, Apr 16, 2009 05:24PM
I had a heart catheterization about 8 years ago and I now have what looks like a blood vessel in my groin area where they entered my leg.  It fills with blood and drains and then fills back up and drains again.  This has happened about 5 times in the past 3 months.  My Dr. is sending me to a vascular surgeon to have him check it.  Does anyone have any knowledge of this happening? I appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,
Nora
