blocked arteries

I have been having neck pain for  2 months . My husband died  at 40. He went to er and the cheif complaint he had was neck pain. They told him it was probably a pulled muscle  and subscribed muscle relaxers. He took one and an hour later dropped dead.   Should I be concerned? I am 54 and overweight.

It certainly would not hurt to get an ultrasound of your neck to see if you have any blockage.  It would also put your mind at ease, so that you will not continue to worry which is not good for you.  Know your cholesterol levels to prevent heart disease.
