by charlotte1947, Sep 13, 2009 07:25AM
i underwent a cardiac cath 5 days ago.  last night i awakened with my right knee in severe pain.  i haven't been active since the cath.  this is a bit frightening.  could this be a blood clot.  it is almost unbearable pain. i can take 3 lortab, 1 soma and 1 aspirin and it lets up for about 2 hours.

It shouldnt be hurting that much by now. I would get to the hospital because if it is a
clot, it can end up being fatal.
