My cardiologist & EP prescribed Midodrine and different BB's trying to regulate my blood pressure & heart rate. Also staying hydrated with fluids, and raising my bp with increased sodium intake (which I questioned but it's normal with ANS patients) compression hose to stop blood pooling in the legs/feet and help circulation.
bp fluctuations can be caused by many things so a dr needs to figure out what is going on; it may be something as simple as dehydration, blood loss, infection, side effect of meds, or as complex as autonomic dysfunction/dysautonomia.
Any recommendation for the treatment?
my fluctuations of bp is caused by the ANS (autonomic nervous system) and I can go from high to low bp in a blink of an eye = dizziness, fainting etc ensue
she feels pain at that particular site but not regularly.
Does she have any discomfort in the pelvic area? My wife had such a procedure years ago and it turned out to be an infection, due to a small piece of tissue being left in there.
Sorry, but you would be surprised by how many students come here to get answers to test questions. They usually use the patient in their question.
Good luck with your mother.
Jon
This is a problem with my mother after removal of her uterus. I want your suggestion. It is not a test question.
However, thanks for your concentration.
It sounds like you are asking for an opinion about a patient of yours or looking for an answer to a test question, we are not doctors, you should seek one out.
It was a total hysterectomy and no hormone replacement was involved.
The first question I have, is was this a total hysterectomy or just the uterus involved? And then I would want to know if there was any hormone replacement therapy involved?
