When I walk, my legs feel like a strong pumping sensation. One time I put my legs up after walking/the next day there were 5 large bruises on my left thigh. My foot cramped up so bad one time while walking, I had to stop...then it was better. I also have numbness of the fingertips (3rd,4th,5th fingers). My feet felt numb and tingly for a time but it went away. I also get this pumping sensation in my hands and neck when sitting. For months when I lay down, the pumping sensation up the back of my neck was very scary...I had to put extra pillows under my head to get any rest. I am 40, lo cholestrol, average weight, and no HX of any kind. Any ideas?
Sounds unusual. You may have some problem with your blood vessels such as a vasculitis, an inflammation of the arteries. A specialist in vascular medicine or rheumatology should be able to decide whether this is what you have.
I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back.
