Borderline EKG is an ambiguous term especially when applied to electrophysiology testing...it requires further testing to support any EKG finding. As an example for boderline EKG can be a heart rate that is 101 beats per minute at rest, and normal is 60 to 100 bpm. The computerized EKG will classify the condition as borderline even though the 101 bpm my be normal for you at the time.
The borderline finding can be related to to an artefact, poor nutrition, electrolyte (chemical) imbalance, medication, etc. Abnormal perspiration can indicate an underlying problem that causes an abnormal EKG and not heart related.
