breathlessness after medication

My friend has been diagnosed with heart- problem and has been prescribed nitrocontin. After taking the same, she is breathless and uncomfortable, why is it so. Does she have to stop the medication.


This discussion is related to LVEF 29%, 31 percent heart damage.

could be a side effect of the medication or she may have an allergy to it, def mention it to the doctor on next visit.
