Was looking into Takotsubo syndrome which states that hypokinesis can be caused by excessive emotional and physical stress and can affect lung function, Anyone who can help ??

Hypokinesis can certainly cause breathlessness if the hypokinesis is severe and/or involves a large territory of myocardium that results in a depressed ejection fraction or causes decreased compliance of the left ventricle. If your ejection fraction is > 55% and the hypokinesis is only mild in the apical region, it would not be very likely that this is the cause of any respiratory symptoms. However, there are other factors that play into this including evidence of regurgitant valves or any evidence of diastolic dysfunction. Unfortunately it is impossible to say without being able to look at the echocardiogram (and based only on a report). If you are having problems with shortness of breath, you should have a thorough evaluation done by your physician.
