I'm a 46yr. 6'-2" 280 lbs. old male who had a quad by-pass in India it was done 7/13/09, would like to know  before i can expect for ribs to heal? (I work construction pools) any ideas would help thanks steve  ps the Doctors are great over there

It takes six weeks for bones to heal. The doctors should have told you not to lift anything
heavier than a kettle for 3 months. However, even after three months you will not feel
strong enough to lift heavy objects. After a year you will have little discomfort left and
feel more confident about the muscles in your chest.
