During an episode of A-Fib last week, an echo was done prior to being cardioverted. My ejection fraction is around 45%. Yes, through the years I've had bouts with too much alcohol....and the Dr said the weakness was mild, or below normal....I've also always been pretty fit, and run, bike, and workout. Can exercise maybe improve my EF? I take long walks, and bike rides....is this okay to do? I'd like to eventually get back into some 5k races. Please share your comments...
