can xanax cause heart or pulmonary probs?

can xanax cause pulmonary hypertension if taken every day for 2 years straight? can it be caused by xanax overdose or abrupt xanax withdrawls?-still trying to get to the bottom of this-if xanax works in your system the same way alcohol does,as a cns depressant ,and alchohol can cause these probs then it makes sense to say xanax could too-to find out i was misdiagnosed and given something that made my prob worse breaks my heart- I don't know what to do-won't ever take another one of those again ever!!!
