hi my daughter has myocarditisMyocarditis and dilatedDilated cardiomyopathy cardiomyopathy but completely recovered within a year what are the chances of these returning. she was 11 months whehn diagnoised and is now 3 years old. she is still seen 6 monthly by the cardiologyst and is not on any medication now she was takeing digoxen spirolactone fursemisde and captropil. her bp at the moment is around 70/40 and heart rate is 100bpm. she was in end stage heart failure which now they say she has completly recovered from. i worry about her alot when she gets ill its hard to know when to panicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia. any advice would be great. thank you
The short answer is yes, but it depends on a lot of things, like what caused it. I'm assuming a virus since you mentioned myocarditisMyocarditis. The chances are really really slim. Being that she sees a cardiologist and you now know what to look for, I wouldn't stress too much.
