I have wrote to you on different occasions, thanks for all your help. i wrote a couple of months ago about having an ekg done and them telling me i had a mi sent me home with nitro ect... I also had a holter moniter which was also neg and a cardolite stress that was normal and an echo that was normal other than some trivial bowing of one of the mitral leaflets. Now my questions is all the test i've had would any of these showed if i have any blockages? or is the true way to find out is have a angiogram done. Thanks once again for your time your very helpful.

The only test that will detect a blockage with certainty is a cardiac catheterization. However, a cardiac stress test can provide good indirect evidence of whether there is or is not a severe blockage. With a normal stress test, the only reason to proceed with a cardiac catheterizatin is if the doctor's suspicion of coronary artery disease is very high
