cardiac catherization

by duffy99, Mar 29, 2009 10:12AM
I had a persantine stress test, ekg's and cardiac markers done. ekg and markers ok. i had a stent put in in 2003. i asked the doctor did i have more blockages and was the stent still in place. he said the best way to see that is cardiac cath, but we don't do it if blockage is 70% or less. The doctor who did the stress test thought there was a problem but the doctor who read the pictures said the pictures are ok but i felt confused. I don't want to wait until it is as bad as last time. what can I do? would they do it at 70% or is that elective?
