I have had 1 quad by-pass and a carotid,subclavien bypasses. A st jude mitral valve and 21 stents.
This has occured over 21/2 years. Dx with coronary,cerebo,peripheal vascular diseases, and mitral stenosis.
My records say I have panvascular disease, this term has me baffled, could you please explain its meaning?
What research I have seen , isnt specific.

Hi dragonease,
I can understand why this would be confusing. You won't find specific literature on this. All your doctors were saying is that you have diffuse arterial vascular disease -- coronary, cerbro, and peripheral. It isn't the name of a specific disease or syndrome. You would treat this the same as you would coronary disease with blood pressure control, blood glucose control, smoking cessation and a statin.
