I am overweight by 70 lbs. I have tried yoga, strechibg and 2 mile walks 3 xs a week. and the weight is not coming off. I eat healthy now. My physician tells me to walk more but then my feet really ache the next day. I would like to start jogging, is it safe having a mirto pro lapse valve and hypertention?

Weight loss by exercise alone is a very slow process.  However, exercise along with calorie reduction will speed things up.  Try and knock off 500 calories a day and at the same time increase your walking to two miles five days a week.  Walking should be brisk enough that if you have a walking partner, it would be difficult to talk and walk and catch your breath.  If you knock off 500 calories a day and walk every day or most every day, you could lose up to two pounds a week.
I wouldn't try and lose weight quickly unless there is a compelling reason to do so.  I set a goal to lose a pound a month several years ago and have lost 40 pounds.  Does your insurance allow for a visit to a dietician?  That would be very helpful.  Best wishes, keep us informed.
